Privacy policy
How Booming Ideas uses account, sign-in, and billing information.
Your account
Booming Ideas stores your name, email address, sign-in connections, and subscription status to provide account access and membership.
Google sign-in provides your Google account identifier, name, email address, and email verification status. We store these details to recognize your account. We discard Google access tokens after sign-in and do not store Google passwords.
GitHub sign-in uses your GitHub identifier, name, and verified email. We discard the GitHub access token after sign-in. If you choose a password, we store its protected hash.
Hosting and sign-in
Cloudflare hosts the application, stores account records, and sends sign-in emails. It processes the request and email delivery information needed to operate these services.
Browser cookies keep you signed in and protect sign-in attempts. Sessions expire after seven days. Email sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Your appearance preference stays in your browser.
Payments
Stripe processes subscription payments. We send Stripe your account email and an account identifier. We store Stripe customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers and subscription status. Card details go directly to Stripe.
Shared research
The research library is shared across members. Account details control access and billing. We do not send Google identity information to research or scoring providers, or use it to personalize research.
Your choices
You can sign out, manage your subscription, or remove Booming Ideas access in your Google account. Removing Google access does not delete your Booming Ideas account or cancel a subscription.
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Account and billing records remain stored unless removed. Payment records are also held by Stripe.
